Review:
I'm not going to waste space in the abstract, as every second or third review provides. Good indication of the film is difficult and the original number of 1/10 and 10/10 ratings, where the tenth opinion consists of just a few lines. A sign that these people werent able to or do not want to watch with an open mind. That is a good sign for bystanders to give the movie a wide berth.I wish you all, I saw Requiem for a Dream. Not that they will like it or will they learn something they do not know yet, but it is a rare work that will challenge and possibly, their modifications. The movie, which has never been done before, there is nothing to compare with it - a rarity in this day and age. I often find myself recommending movies to people that can not be described briefly. These are usually the most involvement and influence. Id like to see my family, but can not * recommend * it to them. I've recommended it to two friends, and they both had the same reaction: I'm glad I saw it, but I doubt I'll be in the mood to watch it again, knowing what I sat and watched feel.As credit roll , in, I started to cry, but they still do not know why. Partly in response to the devastating tragic end, and beautiful (yes) in the film, and gratitude for the good things in my life. I saw it again the same night with my girlfriend, and not because I wanted to upset her, but I felt I had to share it. After the credits rolled, we both were silent a good ten minutes. It turned out that I thought I wanted to, but found no words. It is one of the few films that are painful experience, but I feel compelled to share with the people depends. Others on the short list includes The Thin Red Line, fortunately, the River, and The Deer Hunter. These movies all share a quality that is hard to replace. No one likes to feel worried or crushed by a film, a work of art, a piece of music, but I have experienced these feelings and urged to think, not just to play, it is important now then.Favorite not apply to it for me - not As for entertainment. One of the most devastating and beautiful experience I had while watching the movie. One of the five best films I've ever seen.
