Review:
Open by shooting Aldos Snow's latest music videos and then show the downward spiral that led him to this day was hilarious, a perfect start to this innovative comedy spin-off. If you see forget Sarah Marshall then this is what you would expect a film about Aldo Snow be. The film has a heart that I did not expect to see, which was buried under the intellect obscene, vulgar and brilliant, but in Brand there.Russell just opens his mouth and his word is comedy gold. Jonah Hill take a step out of their comfort zone a little bit, and did not play a good con man. (Usually hes a prick too optimistic, for all you naysayers). Diddy delivered a surprisingly strong performance as Im sure anyone who was surprised to see him. Hes actually fun! Repartee with everyone he came in contact with was spot-on. The entire cast has a funny one-liners and the two main characters really makes this movie a joy to watch. The plot actually is one of creativity, something we do not see a lot of the time now. Although the treads familiar humor in gross-out humor, it's also smart joke. But all you have to expect when following rock'n'roll personified. Another thing that surprised me so much ... Many scenes from the trailer are not in this movie. I thought it was a good and bad thing. Good because it does not show us things we've already seen and give us a chance to see new things. But bad as some of the scenes were real funny. For critics hate this movie: Do you like comedy? Would you stop Apatows? Would you like Russell Brand and Jonah Hill? If the answer is no to any of these two ... why are you reviewing this movie? Your opinion is worthless for people who really like this movie.
