Review:
When I first came into the movie, my expectations were not very high. The first two movies, I thought was the best in the series, mainly because Richard Harris is dead-on portrait of Dumbledore and scenarios that closely followed the original books. While the third and fourth films are very artistic and dramatic, I could really connect with them at the time I had with the books. They glossed over many of the small things that the Harry Potter series, so fascinating in the first place, focusing on a select few plot lines and dialogue be limited only to what is necessary to sustain the story. As a result, they felt more like a collage of scenes, a series of puzzles thrown into the audience faster than they can be connected only leads to a final confrontation. Pacing is definitely a problem, leaving fans feeling disjointed, and those who are new to the series confused as to what exactly is going on. In this respect, the Order of the Phoenix was very similar to the previous two films. How Hollywood film that deserves praise, give this amazing world of the big screen, telling a compelling story, and keep viewers glued to their seats until the movie. However, the die hard fans of the book, which will undoubtedly be disappointed. Many scenes that one might believe is priceless story is cut, replace the hasty filling plot holes. Although hurts to ignore some of my favorite scenes in the book is left on the cutting room floor (St. Mungo, Harrys Quibbler interview Quidditch games, etc.) I understand that not all could be included in the film. But in this weakened version of the book, it seems that something is missing. We still have all the drama and excitement, but only some of the magic seems to be gone. In addition, Evanna (could not be more perfect Luna), shows the average kids just never really reached its full potential blow JK Rowling writing. The same applies to Gambon, who seems to have ignored peace of mind knowing a happy idea of ââwho Dumbledore is, in favor of more erratic but powerful director. Of course, it also works more dramatic scenes (particularly the final battle), but otherwise, his performance falls flat, lacking the charm blink of an eye, we come to love the late Richard Harris. Fortunately, Imelda Staunton more than make up for the amazing views of Dolores Umbridge, which is one of the more fully realized characters in the movie. For the rest of the cast, his most casual, the way each scene is written. Overall, I would definitely recommend the film to anyone, fan or not, because it really is a well made movie, despite some wooden members and some bad dialogue. However, looking at the books, really can not help but think how much more potential for this movie couldve had.
