Review:
Well let me first say this film is an amazing film. It's definitely not a terrible movie, as most critics say. I think the critics might have raised their expectations for Thor and X-Men: First Class. You should not compare Green Lantern with these films. The time now is 24% ranked Rotten Tomatoes, which is much too low. It will probably be in the high 60s, if before the Thor and X-Men released: first class.The acting in the movie is good, not scary at all. Ryan Reynolds is great as Hal Jordan and extremely personable. He definitely fits the role of Hal Jordan very well. Blake Lively is a tall and very sexy, it's not just a pretty face, as most suggest. Peter Sarsgaard is a great actor, and he plays the villainous Hector Hemmond very good and interesting. Overall, everyone is trying their best, and did a really great job at the end of the day, certainly not Oscar worthy performances though.The special effects are pretty nifty and extremely valuable to say the least. Although sometimes I feel a little CGIish, but it would not be too big a distraction. I must say I was a little disappointed that Parallax saw, felt a little fake sometimes, but it is not in every sense of the kind of terrible. Furthermore, the film did not take it seriously, which is a kind of refreshing. What could be the reason why the critics did not like to be so much. You still want sad and serious personal history. Unlike Thor and X-Men, Green Lantern is more children friendly.The main problem of the film is that it tries to put the comics and the personal lives of the other characters things. It seems that there still be so many sequels to other characters. It is a kind of too much emphasis on the characters. Distracting sometimes gets a little editing, they must do a better job in any case, but editing is mediocre at best.Overall Green Lantern is a fun summer flick. Although it does not even have to be on the area near The Dark Knight, not a necessity. 3D is really very good and the special effects are memorable. No doubt, critics extremely difficult, Green Lantern and it's unfair. At the end of the day, do not listen to critics. Make up your mind and see this film. At the end of the day there should be only your opinion, which are important to you. You might agree with the critics, or maybe not. But do not skip this film due to the low Rotten Tomatoes score.
